My previous experience in years gone by with hearing aides and audiologists was frustrating and ultimately caused me to abandon my hearing all together. In retrospect, the problem was audiologists who did a lousy job of adjusting my hearing aids.
What I discovered was that you can have state of the art hearing aides and have only mediocre hearing if your audiologist is not well trained and not highly skilled in maximizing their benefit.
As I headed into my sixties and seventies, I needed hearing assistance more and more. I also became aware of the relationship between hearing loss and dementia. I decided I needed to give hearing aids one more try.
In the course of doing research to identify the best hearing aides, I came across a technique called Real Ear Measurements (REM). This is a process that compares sound coming into the ear to the sound processed by the hearing aides.
With this information, the audiologist makes adjustments in the hearing aides to make the two frequency curves coincide. Thus, the hearing aides are accurately reproducing all of the sound entering the ear.
I chose Dr. Seldine at Hearing Partners of South Florida for my audiologist because he uses REM as an adjunct to setting up hearing aides and I’m glad I did. He did a fabulous job fitting me for hearing aids. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.
Dr. Seldine is a highly skilled and knowledgeable audiologist. He is patient, explains things thoroughly, and asks for your feedback concerning your experience with the hearing aides every time he meets with you. He has been, and continues to be, an excellent hearing partner.

This is a great office with a staff that is professional and welcoming. It starts with Elizabeth who greets you. She is fantastic! I had a problem that I was in a bit of a panic about. She immediately took care of everything with a real sense of urgency.
Dr Seldine Is my doctor. Also fantastic. Always takes the time to explain everything to me. Makes me feel like he cares about me and my hearing and genuinely wants to help me. Over the years he has made a real difference in my quality of life.
In todays world there are enough doctor's offices filled with staff that make you feel like a number and one where you are just an interruption making their day longer. This is NOT that office.
Highly recommend you try Hearing Partners on Atlantic in Delray Beach. So happy to be their patient.

I have some hearing loss and tinnitus and needed to do something about it. After doing research I decided to go with a prescription hearing aids dispensed by an audiologist, even though they can be pricey. The main reason I went with Hearing Partners is because they were recommended and are not tied to a particular brand of hearing aid. On my first appointment, Dr Seldine gave me a 2 hour comprehensive hearing test, and after reviewing the results on the next visit I was give three options of hearing aids ranging from least expensive to top of the line. I decided to go with the mid level Starkey Genesis AI. These hearing aids have definitely improved my hearing in the higher frequencies that I was missing. Also my tinnitus, although still there, is less noticeable. All in all, I am happy with the hearing aids and the service I received at Hearing Partners.

I currently have hearing aids that I bought several years ago when I lived in NY. My hearing hasn’t been good so I went to see Dr Berg . First she determined that my ear was clogged badly with wax. She irrigated it . She explained how the hearing aids I have currently are different than others . She was thorough.. knowledgeable…professional… total clarity given… office was clean.. staff was great. I will definitely be going back to get new improved hearing aids from them. I see Dr. Adam at Hearing Partners of South Florida in Delray Beach. She is wonderful!. Today I had a problem with one of my hearing aids. They have a walk in clinic from 1-2 PM.
