I was having trouble with my left ear hearing aid. The sound was very weak. I had been changing the filter very often. The technician showed how to clean around the filter where wax was accumulating. The wax was barely visible. She used a small brush to clean the area around where the filter is inserted. The audiologists and technicians that I have seen only instructed me on how to change the filter. The office also sells small cleaning kits for $3.00.

The thing I like most is that the tiny parts to the hearing aid are available to me to pick up and replaceyself and are available . I can stop in and get batteries too. I can call for assistance and have learned how to replace and clean parts.So great.?

I made a appointment, I found them online, a month ago I went in to see if they could adjust a pair of hearing aids. The office was very clean and they had there rules on the door, only 3 people in the waiting room. Everyone was wearing a mask and plexiglass was up for safety. Today I met with the Dr she did her magic and they were adjusted perfect. I absolutely recommend them, also the girls in the office were courteous and friendly. Prices without insurance were very reasonable. Plus I get 2 more adjustments Free within a year!!!

Hearing Science of Fontana gave me the best gift I have ever received. After 35 years, I can hear! From the moment I walked in, I knew this was the place for me. The desk receptionist was very friendly and helpful, the office was spotlessly clean and my hearing specialist, Monoca was as friendly and warm as could be. She explained everything as we went, she performed several different types of hearing tests while diagnosing my problem and she recommended and ordered the correct hearing aids that work perfectly.Then she followed up with another visit to calibrate them exactly to my needs. It just doesn’t get better than that. And the insurances were taken care of without hassle, too! Do yourself a favor and discover what you have been missing. This is the place for that!!

These folks are great! They really work with their clients to see that you are aware of all of the options to assist you with your hearing problems. They also offer a wonderful service on Fridays where they will clean your hearing aids for free if they were purchased from them. You would be surprised what a difference that can make. Bottom Line Up Front: Hearing aids have vastly improved in the past two decades and Dr. Anne Przybyla at Hearing Science of Arcadia and her staff are superb! Their ad in the mail, promising a two-week free trial, was intriguing, so I called for an appointment. I was very skeptical, however, because I had been told by my doctor 20 years ago that hearing aids could not help the kind of problem I have. 10 years ago, that prognosis was confirmed by the House Ear Institute. Thinking about that, I canceled my appointment and didn’t go in. About a year later, another ad (I didn’t realize it was also from them) caught my eye. Since I had been having more and more trouble hearing, I kept my appointment this time. I asked whether anything had changed in the past couple of decades. The answer was an unequivocal "Yes!" In particular, the computers - and the programs that control the computers - are very much better. They are smaller, too. People have actually asked me, "Are you wearing them now?"! I tried them for free for 2 weeks and was astonished. I was able to track a single conversation out of several at two family gatherings. I could hear everybody at the table at a noisy restaurant. I could understand my now-21-year-old granddaughter who still speaks in a very high range without having to ask her to lower her pitch. The aids are not quite as good as I’d hoped, but far better than I expected, and way beyond what I had feared. They are reasonably comfortable, too. I have now had them for over a month, and expect that I will get as used to them as to my glasses, which I’ve had for 68 years. I do not have any experience with other providers, but I’ve talked to several friends who have. Dr. Annie and her staff has been much more helpful and communicative than those friends reported. Dr. Annie even responds to emails. She has already gone the extra step of contacting the manufacturer of my hearing aids with questions that she couldn’t answer. (When was the last time you met someone who knew most of the answers, but admitted when they didn’t know - then went the extra step to try to find the answer?) One more thing: Hearing aids are expensive. Coincidentally, I had just been to a seminar given by our local police department about scams targeting seniors. So I checked them out at the Arcadia Police Department and at the Better Business Bureau. Unfortunately, neither of those groups can tell you whether a company is good - but they could tell me there have been no complaints against them, and they’ve been around for 25 years! Also, I looked on YELP. There was only one review. Well, now there are two, both with five stars.

Dr. Whitaker here at Hearing Science of Chino, just fitted me for my new "ears", and I am super excited! He did the most thorough fitting I have ever had and have now unfortunately has a few!...The whole staff is super nice and easy to work with and without them today would be in pain from a bad fitting hearing aid AND deader than normal!!!...Which for me is about 50% in both ears now..

Our experience with hearing science of Arcadia is basically... Amazing! We were dreading going there and admitting that our son has hearing loss. Going through cancer alone then now dealing with the after math is exhausting. The staff over there is extremely helpful, knowledgable and willing to guide us through it all.
