It's been 5 years since I was last in the office. I never should have waited this long. I have really bad back pain that started Monday. I texted this morning and they got me in at 11:00. I couldn't hardly walk stand or sit because of the pain. I had to be re-evaluated because I waited so long to come back. Dr Joe did my adjustment. He explained everything to me and was wonderful. I was skeptical about any Chiropractic care at first, but now I am a firm believer in it and especially pleased with Dr. Rusty and his staff at CFC. But unlike many post complimenting Dr. Rusty and his staff about their friendly and professional service, I want to talk about RESULTS! I have been a patient at CFC since 2012 and it is because I get results from the care. When I first started at CFC I had lower back pain and pain that radiated down my leg to my foot (sciatic nerve). I was on a number of medicines for various medical conditions, including migraine headaches. Very seldom do I experience any lower back pain or sciatic nerve pain, but if I do, CFC quickly takes care of that. Also, I have not experience migraine headaches for more than 4-years now. Over the past 7 years, I've achieved positive results in pain management, and reduced the number of prescription drugs I take on routine basis. As I stated earlier, I was a skeptic at first, but now am a believer in Chiropractic care because of the results I experienced since my wife encouraged me to attend one of Dr. Rusty's "Dinner with the Doc" events in 2012. And yes, the doctors and staff at CFC are truly dedicated, professional and compassionate people. Caution to those who think Chiropractic care is once and done; it is not. But, given the time and opportunity to achieve results, it does work.

I have pretty severe case of scoliosis, which I wore a back brace for 7 years while in high school. As I had children and especially as I aged my scoliosis worsened. I was under care at Cornerstone during my pregnancy with my first child from the 2nd trimester-delivery. During pregnancy, adjustments would literally change the quality of my life. During the 1st trimester, I struggled with such intense headaches that were driven by morning sickness that continued into the 2nd trimester. Before I was a Team Member, I started as a Practice Member at Cornerstone. My husband was working on one of the doctors fireplaces and said "oh my wife could use a chiropractor she has a TERRIBLE back" (how nice right, lol). So I ended up calling cornerstone that day and scheduling a visit to the office. From the time I got ON the phone with one of the team members I could feel her smiling over the phone, and you could tell it was genuine, which of course made the first impression great right off the bat. Scheduling a visit was so easy and quick, and I didn't feel like I was talking to a normal "doctors office" which was also surprising. So that same day I go in for my visit, and she already knew my name, like she was expecting me, which again, caught me completely off guard but also made me feel welcomed and "at ease" with the thought of going to another chiropractor sine the first one didn't go so well. One of the team members showed me around the office so I was familiar with everything (and not just expected to walk around and find everything, including the bathrooms) and started teaching me as we were walking around. I was like.. what kind of doctors office am I at??? Like am I at the right place? I surely was, I can assure you. Anything that had a cost associated with it was brought to my attention before the service was presented and they were very transparent about everything they did. I was absolutely amazed at this office. Over time I saw an improvement with my health which lead to my interest in wanting to dig deeper and be a part of something so genuine, real, and healthy. My family has had regular chiropractic care for over 18 years. Our sons started chiropractic care when they were 4 months and 2 months old. Cornerstone Family Chiropractic is our 3rd chiropractor in that time. (Our first was in Raleigh, NC and our 2nd is in Central Florida.) We recently moved to the Auburn, AL area and immediately began our search for a new chiropractic family. Our search began online and Cornerstone Family Chiropractic made the top of our list because it was obvious that they focus solely on chiropractic care. While others may benefit from offices that offer numerous healing methods, our family's health has benefited the most from exclusive chiropractic care. The next item that put Cornerstone at the top of the list was their focus on the entire family. My wife called the office to ask her list of questions and Andrea spent 40 minutes with her and answered all of her questions and concerns. She scheduled a consult for my entire family and we were in the office our next available day. FIRST VISIT/CONSULT: Because there are four of us in our family, the initial visit took 2 hours but there wasn't any of that time waiting. We were always either talking with someone about our care or being diagnosed. Everyone in the office is very knowledgeable and up front about everything. They have a device we had never seen before; it reads the nerve activity in the entire spine. It is completely painless and we were surprised to see how precise it really is! (Being a chiropractic family, we are all aware of our individual issues and it was amazing to see this device show the specifics.) If we would have stopped here, I think the visit would have been around 1 1/2 hours but we had all decided that we were very comfortable with everyone in the office and agreed we wanted to make Cornerstone our new chiropractic family. We knew that we would need to have x-rays done, since ours were over a year old. Cornerstone does their x-rays in-house which makes it very convenient and extremely cost effective. I had an estimate of what to expect the x-rays to cost for all 4 of us from our past chiropractic offices and Cornerstone's cost was less than a forth of my estimate! FIRST ADJUSTMENT: (We were not adjusted at the first visit, nor would I expect to be. I would be a bit leery of someone adjusting us at that point.) After our first visit, the doctors looked over our files from our previous chiropractor and our new x-rays to determine the individual chiropractic plans for each of us. At the first adjustment appointment, the Cornerstone Staff goes into a little more detail as to what to expect and then goes over each individual's chiropractic plan and cost. Since we do not have insurance, my wife was very pleased with the family plans that they offer and the extremely reasonable costs. If you haven't figured out how much the Cornerstone really cares about you and your family's health by this time, you certainly will when you learn about their family plans and payment options - it is apparent that your health - not money - is the top priority for them! ADJUSTMENT: My wife and sons had their first adjustments at this time and were surprised at how well the technique used works. (For the past 18 years, the chiropractors we have seen have all used manual adjustments and it is all we know. Going into this, we knew that Cornerstone mainly - not exclusively - uses devices to pinpoint and adjust the specific vertebrae, instead of also including the surrounding ones that are affected when using only hands. Andrea had explained this to my wife on the first phone call.) They all walked out of the office feeling better than they ever had after an adjustment and noticed how they didn't have any muscle tension as they sometimes do after manual adjustments. (My work schedule has not allowed me to get my 1st adjustment yet, but thankfully, Cornerstone's hours will allow me to very soon.) My family is looking forward to continuing our relationship with Cornerstone Family Chiropractic!
